The Wisconsin Coastal Management Program is another example of a grant program that could be used to acquire the Interstate Falls property. $1.5 million dollars is available to Wisconsin counties adjacent to Lake Superior or Lake Michigan. Like the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program, this could be an excellent way for a conservation buyer to recoup their investment in the 38.7-acre property.
